Located just 25 miles from the Canadian border, Far North Spirits is one of only a handful of estate distilleries nation-wide to grow their own grains. Far North Spirits is making a name for itself in the farming, distillation and aging of single varietal whiskey but they make beautifully botanical gin and let’s not forget their succulent seasonal Limoncello.
But this is also a story of two people – Michael Swanson and Cheri Reese – who returned home after 25 years to find the authenticity of a simple life and fulfill a deep desire to make tangible, artisanal products of unquestionable quality and value.
They envisioned a portfolio of spirits focused on provenance: heritage and non-GMO grains, rich Red River Valley soil, pristine Lake Agassiz aquifer water, expertly-made Minnesota barrels, and their own Scandinavian heritage. They steadfastly believe in making the best spirits they possibly can.
Cheri will be with us to lead us through the dinner and the introduction of their incredible line-up of whiskey, gin and limoncello. We can't wait!
